The wine landscape
of the Mittelmosel is distinguished by culture that was nurtured over the millenniums. In our beautiful wine villages, you
will find town houses, medieval buildings, cloisters, citadels and castles. Bernkastel-Kues, the medieval metropolis of the
wine trade, is the centre of our region. Annual events include many wine festivals and the well-known Moselle festival weeks.

34th Christmas market in Bernkastel
At the Golden Grape Holiday Home Christmas is special. We provide a traditional German Christmas atmosphere for young
and young at heart. In the medieval town of Bernkastel, the Christmas market comes alive daily from the 19th of November until
the 18 of December 2011.

Christmas Market Openning Times:
Monday to Thursday: 11 am - 7pm
Friday
to Saturday: 11am - 9pm
Sunday: 11 am - 8pm
Note: Christmas Market is closed on Sunday the 20/11/2011

Happy Mosel
If you enjoy bike riding, In-line skating or just a stroll
along the Mosel without the worry of any motor vehicles driving on the road, this special Sunday is made for you. An
amazing 180 Kilometers of Road (left & right) will be closed for motorist so this environment friendly
event can take place. This event called "Happy Mosel" will only take place once a year the next one
will be on the 3rd of June 2012 from 9am - 7pm.

event on the Mosel - Weinfest der Mittlemosel
(Great fun!!! up to 200000 visitors a year! Cool
fun-fair, massive fantastic firework display, food and drink served day and night, market stalls and lots and
lots of entertainment).

event on the Mosel! 1/2 hour of uninterupted fireworks!)
